Upcoming Chinmaya Mission Camps...

Postby Padmaja » Mon Jul 26, 2010 11:07 am

Hari Om. Pranams to all.

Vanaja ji Nair suggested me that we should start a topic about the "Chinmaya Mission camps". This way all those who are members of our on-line study group can come to know when there is any camp conducted for three or four days in any area and they can spread the message and inform their friends through email or phone. Also if we happen to visit any place and if there is any camp scheduled there, then we will know about it in advance and will be able to participate.

I request everyone - if there is any Chinmaya Mission camp scheduled in your area, please post the details here. Thank You.

Regards,
Padmaja Joshi

The study of Vedantic concepts, taught in English and based on original Sanskrit texts (Bhagavad Gita, Upanishads, and/or introductory texts), along with classes on meditation, Sanskrit chanting, and devotional texts, guide each student toward deeper spiritual fulfillment.

The well-balanced daily schedule allows ample time for study, reflection, service, and solitude, so that each student achieves internal integration and external harmony through the confluence of karma yoga, jnana yoga, and bhakti yoga. The secluded and serene ashram surroundings, in the midst of majestic Redwood trees and rolling hills, is a perfect and beautiful haven for sincere spiritual seekers.
