Dispassion is the ever-growing plant
in the garden of spirituality.
It is like the paarijaata of Krishna’s garden
that gives whatever one wishes.
As one grows in dispassion
one starts seeing the choices
in every dimension of one’s life.
Where there was reaction
one can choose to respond,
quarrelsome mind can
choose to be quiet,
bothering relationship can be
transformed to be brotherly.
As you begin
seeing the choices
you begin to rejoice.
You lighten-up with
your light-heart.
You sweeten your emotions
by the sugar of kindness.
You relax in the peace of
your inner-space!

It is New Hour for you to
wishfully welcome
when the old clothes of
past regrets are forsaken for
the new You
who will never wear-out!

Happy Deepavali……..!!!
“Being happy doesn't mean that everything is perfect. It means that you've decided to look beyond the imperfections.”
Driving past the grounds of the university, a professor saw a student running hard. Snarling at his heels were three huge dogs. Intent on rescue, the professor braked his Volkswagen to a halt and threw open the door. "Hurry, get in! He commanded." "Get in!"
"Say, you are the greatest," the bearded youth grasped. "Most people won't offer me a lift when they see I have three dogs."

Seasons change not for joy or sorrow
it is the nature of Lord’s creative dream…
Leaves change their color, nothing remains the same…
green becomes yellow that becomes orange
they turn into red discarded when they are dead
withered are the leaves and they leave forever…
so is the nature of body, senses and the mind
that which leaves never has life
that which never leaves has no color , never dies
why do you judge others by color of skin or eyes?
O my dear fellow traveler,
worry never over the condition of the mind
know for sure that mind itself is a condition…
If you look for a reason to be happy or sad,
vain will be your life, pain it is for sure
in vain you pride over the shares you own
do you ever share what is your own?
Begin the joyful journey of love
seasons don’t matter, reasons never mind
what is yours is for everyone to share
move on and move on…stop not till you reach
the land that has nothing that you want
but reveals everything who you really are!
Man is least himself when he talks in his own person. Give him a mask, and he will tell you the truth - Oscar Wilde
A man noticed two men facing each other, one holding a paper for the other one to read, whose ears were plugged with earphones.
He went near them and asked, ‘why are you holding the paper?’
‘I don’t know how to read or write. I am asking him to read it out for me’
‘But why his ears are plugged?’
‘This is a personal letter from my wife. I don’t want him to hear what he is reading!!!!’

Vasana is the result of
fanciful ideas projected upon
a thing whose cause and consequences
are not inquired - so said
Sage Vasishta to Sri Rama

Delightful moon that you admire,
neither the light is its own,
nor is the other side is bright...
so you see through the eyes of fancy!

Rush of energy that reaches the senses
while in pursuit of sense pleasure
neither joy is in the objects
nor is in the senses
so you relish through the senses of fancy!

In deep slumber of every night
while your world is surely forgotten
neither bliss is in restful bosom
nor it is of the quiet mind
so you revel through darkness of ignorance!

=============== Quote

To give reason for fancy were to weigh the fire, and measure the wind - John Lyly

=============== Humor

A man in a bar sees a friend at a table, drinking by himself.Approaching the friend he comments, "You look terrible. What is the problem?""My mother died in August," he said, "and left me $25000." "Gee, that's tough," he replied."Then in September," the friend continued, "My father died, leaving me $40,000." "Wow. Two parents gone in two months. No wonder you're depressed." "And last month my aunt died, and left me $15,000." "Three close family members lost in three months? How sad!" "Then this month," continued, the friend, "absolutely nothing!"

Path of Love

To claim that one can realize Truth
merely through the ken of intellect is
akin to a sparrow attempting to
empty the shore less ocean with
its tiny, slender beak!

Truth is not personal,
yet it is not impersonal either!
It transcends logic and abstract,
when given personality
fills the heart with nameless love!

Personified He is
when stands in front of a mirror,
reflection there is You...
offer Him anything you like
where will it go, Dear?
This is the path of Love,
you get soon as you give..
love Him..will He not?

"We should take care not to make the intellect our God, it has of course, powerful muscles, but no personality! - Albert Einstein

An elderly lady was invited to her old friend's home for afternoon tea. She was impressed by the way her friend preceded every request to her husband with endearing terms calling him,
"Dear Hubby, My Love, Darling, Sweet pie"
Amazingly, she had been married almost 50 years and it seemed they were still very much in love. While the husband was off in the garden, the lady leaned over and said to her friend,
"I think it's wonderful that, after all the years you've been married, you still call your husband those loving pet names."
The old woman hung her head.
"I have to tell you the truth" she said, "I forgot his name about ten years ago!"
