Lesson 1 Addition

Dear Sir,
I recently joined your Vedic maths course.
The first lesson of addition talks about doing mental addition to improve speed.
I was wondering if there is any specified vedic maths technique for addition and subtraction.
Does any sutra explain addition and subtraction?

Hari Om!

Firstly, apologies for the delay in revert. There were some issues with the Discussion Forum due to which we could not moderate it.

I think by now you must have saw the sutra for subtraction from numbers ending with zeros. However, there are no other techniques prescribed by Swamiji for Addition or Subtraction because these were probably operations one was expected to know how to do them quickly.
